Class Description

This one-day class is aimed at litigation support professionals who have additional, "big picture" case-management responsibilities. It builds on the concepts covered in the Project Management 1 (PM1) class as they apply to managing the flow of discovery from one step of the discovery process to another. Among other things, you'll learn:

  • How to prepare discovery management timelines
  • How to coordinate the work of multiple EDRM phases at once
  • How to do "big picture" planning
  • How to facilitate a case-planning meeting and walk attorneys through the decisions that they need to make
  • What information to collect and when to collect it

In addition, you'll get more material for the toolkit -- the toolkit for this class includes an agenda for a case-planning meeting and a Case Plan Report template.

Who should attend: Litigation support professionals, paralegals, and attorneys who are responsible for the "big picture" management of document handling projects and for preparing case project plans.
